Non-Surgical Hair Loss Solutions

We’ve Got You Covered.

Extensions

Hair Flair offers a few different types of hair extensions, but we specialize in Nano-links, which are the smallest and lightest hair extensions on the market, and were created specifically with medical hair loss in mind.

Our tiny Nano-link extensions are attached almost unnoticeably even to very thin hair, and can be used for up to a year (with regular maintenance appointments). Because our extensions are so light, and because they are installed and maintained by trained professionals, they will not damage even the most fragile hairs.

Extensions allow your natural hair to grow back while disguising the awkward in-between phase, and you will feel beautiful and confident in the meantime.

Top Closures

We also offer top closure hair pieces which install in seconds and will make a seamlessly drastic improvement on the look of the hair on the top and front of your head. You may have to see it to believe it, but meanwhile, trust us that, if you want the easiest solution for visible scalp or thinning hair on the top of your head, a topper is the ideal choice.

Our toppers are hand-tied with 100% cuticle-intact human hair.

Get a top closure piece on its own or dramatically pump up the volume with extensions too.

Hair-Building Fibers

Hair-building fibers are an exciting and all-natural innovation for those suffering hair loss! This amazing product is made of microscopic keratin fibers which build upon your existing hair to cover thinning and bald spots. Simply shake the fibers in your chosen shade over the spot on your scalp you would like to fill in and watch your hair seem to thicken as you watch.

This product is very affordable, great for both men and women, and is rain, wind and perspiration-proof.

Fibers are compatible with hair loss medications, and no special styling products are required.

All of our hair extension and top closure products are made of the highest quality human hair with 100% cuticles intact

OTHER NON-SURGICAL SOLUTIONS

Wigs

Wigs are one of the quickest and easiest ways of hiding hair loss, and there are many varieties available on the market. Wigs are not without their own limitations, though, such as:
They can be expensive – getting a real human hair wig that is custom-made to fit your head is far from cheap
They can be uncomfortable and feel unnatural
Embarrassing situations

The most difficult thing about wearing a wig, though, is the fact that, at the end of the day (not to mention swimming, working out, or showering), the wig has to come off and the wearer is faced with the shame of their hair loss in the mirror. While wigs can be an excellent temporary solution, they are perhaps not an ideal longer-term solution for hair loss sufferers.

Laser light

Hand-held devices utilizing low level laser therapy (LLLT) are believed to stimulate the growth of the hair follicle. It is believed that light-sensitive cells will respond to the LLLT, which provides a jump start to follicle production which in turn generates metabolic activity.

Though it can be effective if the alopecia is not advanced, this method is slow and not effective for everyone, there are few FDA-approved devices on the market, there is a high cost, and results are not guaranteed.

Hair re-growth therapy

Hair re-growth therapy involves injecting adult stem cells (Platelet Rich Plasma or PRP) into the thinning areas of the scalp. The intention is that this injected substance would send signals to the dormant stem cells in hair follicles to jump-start their production.

This is a solution provided by hair loss specialists, often in conjunction with hair transplantation to improve outcomes. It can preserve and thicken the hair of patients with a predisposition toward hair loss.

Approximately 50% of patients will experience some form of improvement, starting within 6 months after treatment.

Cost: up to $5,000 USD.

Scalp roller/micro-needling

This dermatological method involves microscopic needles rolled over the skin of the scalp to stimulate new growth. It is often used to help hair regrowth medications such as Minoxidil penetrate more effectively.

It can tighten and firm the skin and reduce hair loss and wrinkles, but it is not as effective in older people.

Minoxidil

Commonly known as Rogaine, Minoxidil is a medication which slows hair loss and promotes regrowth. It is applied topically twice daily and can be effective for both males and females. Approximately 40% of males experience regrowth within 6 months. For ongoing effectiveness, it must be used indefinitely. Side effects can include exacerbation of hair loss or temporary hair loss.
